Trout Fishing Two renowned trout fishing rivers (the Waihou and Waimakariri) are on the farm offering superb fishing. There is approximately 3 kilometres of rivers for you to fish just a few minutes walk from the farmstay. Only people staying here have access to the rivers on the property and rivers are open all year round. Both rainbow & brown trout are caught here and there is a limit of 5 fish per day. We supply top of the line fishing rods for free to our guests, you just need to purchase your fishing licence from Fish & Game NZ which can be done online using our computer and your credit card. An experienced guide is available if required. |
