Festival of the Arts, Otago The Otago Festival of the Arts is a biennial celebration of the "excellent and the extra-ordinary". A boutique festival in a boutique city the Otago Festival of the Arts offers the full range of performance experience for Dunedin City and Otago audiences. For ten days a whirlwind of acts from all round the world and from New Zealand entertain, stimulate and engage with audiences. |

Programming includes dance, theatre, music, opera, literature, and visual arts performances. Previous international acts include; the Jacques Loussier Trio, Harlem Gospel Choir, Swingle Singers, Soweto String Quartet, Tuvan throat singers, the Architects of Air installation and much more. |

Dunedin is the start of the Southern Scenic Route, a scenic travelling route through spectacular coastal and rural scenery around the south of the South Island.
